~About Me

I am a Christian homeschooling mother of 8. My children range in age from 19 to 1.

I co-own Holy Sheep! Yarns. I enjoy knitting and crocheting. I used to read books, but now I read blogs!

I live in what used to be rural North Carolina, but the city doth encroach. I’m not real happy with that, since we have all the issues but none of the conveniences.

I can cook a mean fried chicken, and make biscuits from scratch.

I am allergic to dogs. I do not look my best with hives. Trust me on this.

I'm Cass. I am a full-time mom to eight great children, a Christian, a knitter and a blogger. I've been knitting since December of 2000, and I knit all. the. time. I knit professionally for several years, but have become so busy that I only work on consignment now. I have also taught several knitting classes. I do all my knitting with two sticks and some string, and do not even own a knitting machine. I also crochet quite a bit, and used to embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint. I have other non-fiber related hobbies as well.
