Online Craft Club #49

Look, I meant to get over here early this morning and post this, because it is kind of breaking news, and it is time sensitive. Barack Obama and John McCain have joined together to create oh wait, that’s next week. Sorry. Back to this week.

If you know where I live (Linda, I’m thinking about you) and it’s within driving distance (Babs, I know that’s YOU), we are having a wee little fiber craft meet-up tomorrow at the public library at 10am. I sure hope you’ll join us!

I’ve spent a bit of time knitting this week, and I am nearly done with the body of Stuntman’s Wallaby. I find my mind drifting when I am working on it, though, to thoughts of lace and myself and socks and me and shawls and I. Does that ever happen to you? Do you know why it happens to me? Maybe because I am the only person I knit for that takes care of her handknits? Yeah, I totally found Drama’s Wallaby in the yard, soaking wet from the rain earlier this week. At least it wasn’t wool, so she doesn’t need to shop for travel insurance to escape my blistering ire. A little wash, a little dry, she’s good to go, and so os the sweater. Still, she’ll be practically grown before I knit her another sweater. And not just because I am upset about finding this one in the yard. After all, she has to wait her turn, ykwim? And since my mind is full of ideas for me, well, I may just be next, next, next and next.

Take a picture of your current project, whatever that happens to be. Or maybe one you recently finished. Or the materials for the one you are about to start. Let’s say materials for a project in whatever state it happens to be in at the time you snap it. On Friday, post the picture and tell us about your project. What you did, or what you are going to do. How much you are enjoying it, or hating it. You know–show and tell.

Just copy & paste the code below the graphic and get crafty with me!

Be sure to come back and leave a comment so we know where to find you!
