sticks, beads and strings
make wonderful, beautiful things

Some beading up in here, ya’ll

So yesterday, I hurried through my work, because I wanted to spend some quality time with my beads. But after I showed you all that new stuff, i actually worked with these:

I ended up making a three strand necklace and a 2 strand bracelet. The bracelet was 3 strands, too, until one of the strands slipped out of the knot. It was the strand that was made solely of seed beads. Of course. Here is a rough picture:

Let it be known that I do not have one of those fancy hook needle thingies, and I placed all those seed beads by hand.

I haven’t decided what to do with the necklace yet, but I am pretty sure the bracelet is going to Ang. I guess I should say that Mama hasn’t decided about the necklace yet, because she bought these beads for me to make up for her. If she likes it, it’s hers, if not, you will see it again on Wednesday, with better pictures, for the store. I can’t take those by myself, see, LOL!

Also, I learned something! Even though these beads are mostly acrylic, I think they look really nice with the seed beads. You may recall I ranted a little bit about that set of red plastic beads the other day. I’ll try working with those again, and using some of my growing collection of seed beads with them to see what I can come up with.
