Knitting on the edge

I’m talking about the second sweater sleeve, the one I likened to the black abyss. I have ten rounds before it is joined to the body of the sweater. And then there will be the yoke. Hmm, wonder if there will be enough yarn to finish said yoke? Wonder what I will do if there isn’t? Hmmm. Hmmm. Hmmm. That’s on of the inherent pitfalls of re-making something, ykwim? There may or may not be enough yarn to make the second version. That might not would be a problem except that there are six thousand shades of red, four thousand seven hundred and ninety eight shades of black, and don’t even get me started on yellow. And remember, I can’t go buy yarn. If I don’t have enough to finish, I have to find something in the stash.

Nothing like knitting yourself off the edge of the cliff.

I have that problem with projects and the yarn I have been given. Do I have enough yarn to actually complete the project? I have actually had to ditch a few things because I ran out of yarn and it was no longer in production. So sad.
