Online Craft Club Show and Tell #18

It’s Friday again! How does it happen that Friday comes around again so quickly? It’s crazy. Crazy, I say.

At any rate, I’ve been busy again this week. Here you can see the wallaby. The pocket is attached, and I have about half an inch before the yoke. I’ll be making sleeves shortly, IF I have the proper size dpns. Determining not to spend money on crafts until I have completed 12 projects may present some dilemmas. If I need needles can I borrow them from you?

And here is Fantasy Ride. I really tried last night to get this corner finished, but I gave up at quarter til one and went to bed.

Now, I know you can see that this is not the normal level of craftiness you usually see here on Fridays. But I have a reason, and I can illustrate it for you with a picture. I am in the throes of a whole house purge. We are downsizing, getting rid of what we don’t use. Yesterday, for instance, we moved the craft stuff out of the bottom of the china hutch so we could use it for actual dining room type stuff. It was left in there from when that hutch was in the living room. This picture illustrates just why I don’t need to spend more money on crafts. This is a stack of books, magazines and scrapping supplies, and it’s not even all of the scrapping stuff. Yeah. I love to make stuff, and making stuff takes a lot of stuff. But not this much stuff.

I have got to weed through all the mess and use it/lose it/plan it. Even a gold anklet can feel like a ball and chain if it’s heavy enough, ykwim.

Here’s how to play:

Take a picture of your current project, whatever that happens to be. Or maybe one you recently finished. Or the materials for the one you are about to start. Let’s say materials for a project in whatever state it happens to be in at the time you snap it. On Friday, post the picture and tell us about your project. What you did, or what you are going to do. How much you are enjoying it, or hating it. You know–show and tell.

Just copy & paste the code below the graphic and get crafty with me!
