Shopper: Ready, Set, Go

So, Saturday night, my mom and I went to Wal-Mart to get a plastic piggy bank. We ended up putting well over 200 dollars worth of clothes into the buggy, and onto a credit card. Oh, and then a few pieces had to be exchanged because they didn’t fit, and so, we went back. At 10:30pm. Yeah. We shop, ya’ll. I am so glad she has a credit card with a good rate. She’s been smart with her credit cards, and shopped around for good deals.

I was looking at the cards on that site I just linked, and noticing that some of them offer a contribution to charity that is tied to your spending. I haven’t seen that offered by any US companies, and I’m trying to decide if I like that idea. On the one hand, you can feel good about spending, but on the other, you can feel good about spending. See, I know that feeling good about spending, usually leads to more of it, at least for me, and that’s not always a good thing. Not that I don’t enjoy it. Just sayin’
