Let me tel you that the bamboo dpns, they are on my very last nerve! They, are, so, slow. The. yarn. just. sticks. I will be looking at only using my metal ones once the mate to this footie is done.

I'm Cass. I am a full-time mom to eight great children, a Christian, a knitter and a blogger. I've been knitting since December of 2000, and I knit all. the. time. I knit professionally for several years, but have become so busy that I only work on consignment now. I have also taught several knitting classes. I do all my knitting with two sticks and some string, and do not even own a knitting machine. I also crochet quite a bit, and used to embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint. I have other non-fiber related hobbies as well.

on the dpns, it all depends on the yarn. Sometimes the metal ones are TOO slippery for the yarn and i have to switch to bamboo, sometimes vice versa. So its always good to have both
