My New Dishwasher
I went shopping today. Internet shopping, that is. My dad happened to be at Lowe’s when I made my final selection, so I called him up and he brought this home to me:
If DH thinks he’ll be off work once he gets home, well, umm, no. Not quite. My kids won’t be tempted to ask if there are any Catholic saints for dishwashing, anymore, either, LOL!

Nice!! Hopefully, he will be able to bring home a washer for me Sunday. I hate to do such on Sunday, but we are sure he will be off this one and am not promised next Friday or Saturday. Has to be Sunday because the new sale starts and it is better than this week’s.
I miss having a dishwasher, the house we are in now the kitchen’s too small for one so I’m back to washing dishes by hand.
I cant use our dishwasher for fear of the electric bill
I know you will like your new washer! I had my doubts, but if it can make cloth diapers fresh, I trust it
I cannot imagine *not* having a dishwasher with a large family. By the time you get a meal cleaned up, it’s time to cook again!
32 bucks a year, Suni. 32 bucks. per. year.
I will tell my husband that and see what he says. I just used it to dry the dishes tonight to see if it worked LOL
I love my dishwasher. I’m a “I hate to unload it, but don’t mind loading it girl”, though I’m much better these days.
Mine is similar, but with a stainless steel exterior
Ooooh, purdy!! I want one! Tell your Pop to swing by here with one, too!
Dang I need a new dishwasher! Mine is so finicky that I have to hand wash. (Less time for knitting.)
Suni, what did he say?
Deb, a dishwasher is a necessary evil. I don’t care to load it or unload it. I actually like washing dishes by hand. It just takes to long to do them for this many people.
Lisa, I’ll tell Daddy to go see you, but you have to do what I did–pay him when he gets there, LOL!
Lucia, anything that interferes with knitting must be dealt with in the strongest possible way.
