Virus Protection

When we got this computer, it came with the latest greatest virus protection coverage from the Norton Antivirus program. I was thrilled not to have to worry about viruses for that first year, since it updated itself and everything. The service was fine, and you can even find help on the forums if you get stuck. For the most part, I left it alone to mind it’s own business, and it sat quietly in the corner doing a good job, occasionally going bezerkers over a threat. And I was pleased, because that’s exactly what I wanted it to do!

I never had any trouble at all with [tag]Norton[/tag], until it came up for renewal, and man, that was a pain in the behind! In order to get the discounted renewal, I needed to re-find passwords and all of that. That’s not such a great horror –unless you’ve had a hard drive crash. And then it is more trouble than I can describe adequately using proper grammar and punctuation.
