sticks, beads and strings
make wonderful, beautiful things

I finally shopped!

I finally got out and went shopping Saturday, and picked up stuff we’d been needing. No, not food, though I plan to do that this week, too. I got a fire alarm to replace the one that went whacko last month, some soap and shampoo we were getting low on, and such as this.

I also got a laundry hamper to replace the one that got broken 6 months ago, and finally was unrepairable last month. I was trying to get by with just a basket, but, umm, no, we make was to much laundry for that. This one is made by Sterilite, and it has handles that you can fold in so that the basket/hamper will stack. Best of all it has WHEELS. Get that, why don’t ya?? Love it. Now even the smallest of kiddos can help with laundry. I also got a couple smaller ones for toys.

I got a new faucet for the kitchen sink, since I’ve needed a new sprayer for quite awhile, and could not find *just* a sprayer. This led to teh great flood of ’07, which I alluded to a couple of days ago.

The best thing by far is a throw just for me. Microfiber on one side, and fleece on the other, and mine, all, mine. It’s cream with a floral design on the fleece side and sage green on the microfiber side. Did I mention it’s mine?
