I have to tell you that DH made another cake with the boys this morning. This time he used a mix. We’re taking last night’s disaster to see if it will win the prize for “flattest cake”. Think they have a chance?
I have to tell ya’ll. When you tap this “cake”, it sounds like you are tapping a board! You can actually just pick the layers up and they won’t break! And, yes, that’s three layers there in his hands.

I'm Cass. I am a full-time mom to eight great children, a Christian, a knitter and a blogger. I've been knitting since December of 2000, and I knit all. the. time. I knit professionally for several years, but have become so busy that I only work on consignment now. I have also taught several knitting classes. I do all my knitting with two sticks and some string, and do not even own a knitting machine. I also crochet quite a bit, and used to embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint. I have other non-fiber related hobbies as well.
