Since last we chatted about the [tag]lace[/tag] dress, I have completed the garter stitch waist, and am now ready to divide the front from the back and knit on those.
I’ve also made the first of the [tag]Christmas ornaments[/tag]. We’re having little toboggans this year. They are cute, and also fast. Much faster than the stockings made from sock yarn that I made last year when I was a woman of leisure, LOL!
I'm Cass. I am a full-time mom to eight great children, a Christian, a knitter and a blogger. I've been knitting since December of 2000, and I knit all. the. time. I knit professionally for several years, but have become so busy that I only work on consignment now. I have also taught several knitting classes. I do all my knitting with two sticks and some string, and do not even own a knitting machine. I also crochet quite a bit, and used to embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint. I have other non-fiber related hobbies as well.
