Lace takes a while

Especially if you only work on it about an hour a day. It just seems like I’m not able to pick up my [tag]knitting[/tag] until late at night, and then it’s slow going because I am tired! It takes even longer when you pick it up and work a plain round when you are supposed to work a [tag]lace[/tag] round, especially when the [tag]knitted lace[/tag] pattern is K3P3. Which is what I did last night. Sigh. It took longer to tink that round than it did to [tag]knit[/tag] it, by a factor of several.

The midwife called this morning to chat and asked about it. I was embarrassed to admit that I am only a little over halfway through the skirt, with 15 of 22 centimeters done. She’s gonna stop by the blog Tuesday to check it out, so I’ll be posting a picture late Monday night. I hope to have the skirt done by then.
