October Third
Once again, the day looms large before me, with 57 hours worth of stuff to do, and the same 24 hours to cram it all into.
Today, Mama is coming over to have me work some more on her new blog. Tonight, I have scouts x two kids. And to fill in the rest of the time, I need to work to do the stuff I would normally do today PLUS the stuff I did not get done yesterday while I was trying to do that puzzle.
Speaking of the puzzle, after it was done, we could read a press release announcing that PayPerPost had obtained 3 million dollars in funding. What’s unique about that to me is that one of the bloggers who does blog advertising was a funder. In fact, I guess he may not be writing for PPP anymore, because he’s taking a place on the board. There’s a write-up at Techcrunch on it, and I have to say that the comments are more intriguing than the original article. I have some things to say about all that, but for once, I’m keeping my mouth shut. Surprised? Yeah, me too. OK, one comment. It’s fairly obvious that someone is shooting off at the mouth with no clue as to the actual TOS. Listen to the podcast for a great rebuttal. There. Done.
So, that leaves me with a day of cleaning, laundering, daughtering and taxi-driving. I hope to squeeze some knitting in there somewhere, and I must add that I am beginning to hate those yellow socks. They are fine socks. It’s just that the stand as a testament to my lack of knitting time. Have I told you that I am now on day 12?
