Cause he’s done! Here is DS#1 with his socks and hat. He said a couple days ago that the next thing he wanted was a hat so he would have a set, since I had made mittens for him earlier this year. I took the hat I had made for the baby (that was way too big) and added ribbing to it, so he now has his set.
I’l likely not get back to him until after the new year.
The socks are a 2×2 rib, which I continued down the top of the foot until the final 2 rounds of the toe.
I'm Cass. I am a full-time mom to eight great children, a Christian, a knitter and a blogger. I've been knitting since December of 2000, and I knit all. the. time. I knit professionally for several years, but have become so busy that I only work on consignment now. I have also taught several knitting classes. I do all my knitting with two sticks and some string, and do not even own a knitting machine. I also crochet quite a bit, and used to embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint. I have other non-fiber related hobbies as well.
