I Wear my Sunglasses at Night

Do ya’ll hate when I do that? Put that little song in your head to set you up? ROFL! I can’t help it. Ask my kids, I have a song for every occasion. But I digress, and let me get to the point.

I have been wearing glasses since I was about 10. Until recently. A month or so ago, I was knitting a sock (surprise, surprise), and it was quite blurry. I looked at DD#1 and said, “next time we go to Walgreens, remind me to pick up some reading glasses, cause I just can’t see these stitches.”. Then I took my glasses off to rub my eyes, and glanced down at my crystal clear knitting. So, I have only been using my glasses for driving since then. Added bonus has been a decrease in headaches and eye fatigue.

Because I was wearing glasses all the time, I could not wear sunglasses, though I really wanted to. Especially when I am knitting as a passenger in a car, the sunlight glinting off the needles can be painful. Now I am in the market for something cute and fun. Cause at 39, I need cute, and everybody needs fun.

I found many designer styles from Bolle, Serengeti, H2Optix, AO Eyewear, and Wiley X at Optics Planet. They have something for everyone. Even your 39 year old knitting geek.

Check out these pink ones from Serengeti!

My mama is not the only one who likes pink in this family!
