So, I did start my fixation socks! Toe-up for the first time 
I did not start either of the other things I mentioned.
Had doc visits for 2 kiddos this morning, so I am running behind. Well, no, let me tell the truth–I wiped a few things right off the to-do list. Like group school work. If I can do it this afternoon, great, but I am not counting on it.
I did take DD#2’s sock with me, and am working the short-row heel on that.
I'm Cass. I am a full-time mom to eight great children, a Christian, a knitter and a blogger. I've been knitting since December of 2000, and I knit all. the. time. I knit professionally for several years, but have become so busy that I only work on consignment now. I have also taught several knitting classes. I do all my knitting with two sticks and some string, and do not even own a knitting machine. I also crochet quite a bit, and used to embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint. I have other non-fiber related hobbies as well.

How did you like the toe up knitting? The thing I don’t like about them is doing the final bind off with the cuff.
Well, I did have to use a 5 to bind off, but over-all, the sock is nice, and the fit is great.
