And I did the carrots separately, then glazed with honey and a touch of cayenne (the way we like em!) Oh and baked potato with all the fixins. Afterwards DH and I watched a movie together, and I drank a touch too much of homemade Irish cream. YUMMM This is the first year, that ALL of the kids had not only seconds, but THIRDS of corned beef! They don't usually like it (and I did nothing special this year either) But..tonight they ate spinach too..and not good fresh spinach either. DH opened a CAN of spinach and they all LOVED it...WEIRDNESS! we had corned beef sans cabbage as well (no one eats it but me!)
