A Riddle

How much sock would a sock yarn make if a sock yarn didn’t make socks?

There is apparently more than enough yarn in a ball of Opal to make a sweater for a 2 year old! I am using the Flamingo to make a dress for DD#4. It’s cap sleeve top down raglan, 24 inches in circumference, knitted on size 3s. And it’s already about 12 inches long. I have now increased to accommodate the hips and still have a decent amount of yarn left. I thought I would get a shirt, so I am well pleased with this turn of events. It’s totally cute, and I can’t wait to show it to you.

Oh, yes, I ditched the “active stitches” to feed the knitting muse by making something that I just wanted to make. I’ll return to my regularly scheduled program shortly.

Baby report: very crampy this morning, but I’ve been “very crampy this morning” for better than a week now.
