make wonderful, beautiful things

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today, I am thankful for the family I love, and the God I worship.

I visited the blanket last night, and sewed the first of the last 4 strips into place. I have added several projects to the list I started with this month-the stole, the santana demo, actually finishing DD#4′s blanket, the dulaan hats ,and the bamboo baby. Here are the estimates of how much time I need to complete each of the remaining projects on November’s agenda:

  • jill 1.5 days
  • my size demo 3 days
  • baby size just needs sleeve, 1/2 day
  • blanket squares 1 day
  • baby blanket 2.5
  • That’s without real life interfering with the knitting, I wont be able to hyper-focus like I did these past 2 days, and that’s 8.5 days. I’ll be comparing this to the actual time it takes. There are just 7 days left in the month, including today. I better get busy!!

The green bean casserole is sitting in the warm oven, and we are watching the Macy’s parade. We will be getting ready to leave soon, going to one of the family Thanksgiving dinners. I dread this one, but go we will.
