Consumed by a Stole
Here is the stole as it looks this morning.

Now, I had every intention right up until 5 minutes ago to ignore it today and work on other things. Ummm, no. For whatever reason, I am compelled to work on this. I’ve learned to (mostly) listen to those nudges, so work on this I will.
Besides I get the distinct impression that anything else I do will be so full of errors that I will end up ripping it out anyway.
At class last night 2 women came in early, trying to eat me for lunch. They evidently don’t get the concept that “patternless sweater” means exactly that– no pattern. I think we got it all settled in the end. Well, except for the woman who spent class number one starting a poncho, and class number 2 demanding help with a newly cast-on top down raglan. Whatever. She spent class three taking notes while I explained in thorough detail exactly how to build a sweater.
In spite of that, I love teaching. Knitting really is a passion for me, and it is a great joy to teach others about it. Even troublesome others.
