Rosa Parks died last night at age 92. I’m sure most of you have read/heard that by now. What you may not have read is a quote by someone whose name escapes me just now, the Congressman she worked for. He said she never raised her voice.
Think on that. The woman changed a nation thorough her simple action, and she. never. raised. her. voice.
God help me to be a woman of that caliber when I grow up.
I'm Cass. I am a full-time mom to eight great children, a Christian, a knitter and a blogger. I've been knitting since December of 2000, and I knit all. the. time. I knit professionally for several years, but have become so busy that I only work on consignment now. I have also taught several knitting classes. I do all my knitting with two sticks and some string, and do not even own a knitting machine. I also crochet quite a bit, and used to embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint. I have other non-fiber related hobbies as well.
