Waterbirth: not for the faint of heart!

It’s such a joyful thing, that first look at fresh life. Warning, graphic picture.

Why is it

that dh can find time to read a chapter of a book on the toilet 3 times a day, yet I have not read a real book in years and can’t squeeze in a shower without an act of Congress?

Update 7:56Ah, the bliss of running water and soap. I feel almost human again.

How Many Times

have I told you NOT to stand on the stove? I know you have been doing it. I also know that you have been using the cabinet doors to pull yourself up. How do I know this? Well, you have managed to start pulling the cabinet down, you little……..what’sit. Which in turn has gouged a big hole in the wall next to said cabinet door. Now how do you reckon we’re gonna fix that?

Today’s KKK

David Duke comes out in support of Cindy Sheehan. Can it really get any worse?

Ok, that’ll have to hold you for a bit. The cleaning fairy (that’s me) has to get a move on, as the teaching fairy (also me) needs to start at 10.

Later today, I will be working on my sock pal’s sock. I am exactly half way through the cuff.

The Christian religion, founded on the life and teachings of Jesus
The religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, sent by God. Christians rely on the Bible as the inspired word of God.

Judaism (j?’d?-?z’?m) n.

Islam (?slm’, ?s’lm) , [Arab.,=submission to God],
world religion founded by the Prophet Muhammad. Founded in the 7th cent., Islam is the youngest of the three monotheistic world religions (with Judaism and Christianity). An adherent to Islam is a Muslim [Arab.,=one who submits].

Regarding idolator, the Quran says Slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and render the alms levy, allow them to go their way. God is forgiving and merciful (Surah 9:5)

2 Peter 3:9
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Romans 12:18
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Isa 9:6-76 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Isa 32:16 -18
Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. 17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. 18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

Regarding Christians and Jews, Fight against those to whom the Scriptures were given as believe in neither God nor the last day, who do not forbid what God and his messenger have forbidden, and who do not embrace the true faith, until they pay tribute out of hand and are utterly subdued (Surah 9:29)

Matthew 5:38-48
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 40 If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. 41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away. 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Isa 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth !

Regarding Muslims who dont want to fight, Believers, why is it that when you are told: March in the cause of God, you linger slothfully in the land? Are you content with this life in preference to the life to come? . . . If you do not go to war, he [God] will punish you sternly, and will replace you by other men (Surah 9:38-39)

Matthew 5: 3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Ps 68:30 Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

Micah 4:1-7
1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. 2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. 5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. 6 In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; 7 And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

The reward for waging Jihad, Believers! Shall I point out to you a profitable course that will save you from a woeful scourge? Have faith in God and his messenger, and fight for Gods cause with your wealth and with your persons. . . . He will forgive you your sins and admit you to gardens watered by running streams; he will lodge you in pleasant mansions in the gardens of Eden. This is the supreme triumph (Surah 61:10-12)

Ephesians 2:4-10
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God

ADONAI will give every person a reward suited to his uprightness and faithfulness. ADONAI put you in my power today, but I would not raise my hand against ADONAI’s anointed. (Complete Jewish Bible).

Ac 23:8
For Sadducees say that there is no resurrection–and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.

John 3:1-8
1 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

(I have received this via email several times. Whether the story is “true” or not, the basic TRUTH remains.)
Allah or Jesus
by Rick Mathews

No matter what the Islamics say, we don’t worship the same God. Last month
I attended my annual training session that’s required for maintaining my
state prison security clearance.

During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers
representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who
explained each of their belief systems. I was particularly interested in
what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the
basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When
it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: “Please,
correct me if I’m wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of
Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the
world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims,
they are assured of a place in heaven. If that’s the case, can you give me
the definition of an infidel?”

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he
replied, “Non-believers!”

I responded, “So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of
Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they
can go to Heaven. Is that correct?”

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to
that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie
jar. He sheepishly replied, “Yes.”

I then stated, “Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine the Pope
commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Charles Stanley
ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!”
The Imam was speechless.

I continued, “I also have a problem with being your friend when you and
your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you
a question. Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in
order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am
going to Heaven and He wants you to be with me?”

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the ‘Diversification’
training seminar were not happy with Rick’s way of dealing with the Islamic
Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslim’s beliefs.

So, tell me again. Which is the religion of peace? Which includes and which excludes?

Wow, that’s

This too.

Get your position here

ha! This one evidently thinks Cass is a cuss word. No matter how I typed it, it came out Carse.
