make wonderful, beautiful things

So much to do!

I just made a nice little post for you, and clicked out of the window. Argh!!!!

List of stuff I need to do today:
Fold laundrydone
Grocery storedone
Deal with 10-ish pounds of hamburgerdone
Clean off desk
Tidy shelves on one of the bookcasesdone
Update checkbookdone OUCH.

This week, I’ll be needing to concentrate on biz knitting. I had a surprise custom payment come in, so I need to kick out the piece that’s OTN, so I can get this other one done as well.

But I still have today :) I want to finish the crocheted square I started last night, and then probably work on the sweater/vest for charity. I have a box of hats ready to go to Afghans for Afghans, and would like to add this. The stuff needs to be there by Sept 16, so I better get a move on. Oh, that would be another good thing to do today: Look at my WIP book, and note any that have deadlines. Cause I know my socks also have to go out by mid-Sept. At any rate, I am ready to start finishing things. I’m very cyclic in my knitting this way. I like to start things, and I like to finish them. Mostly because as soon as I get a batch started, I see something else I would like to make.

Dh is already out mowing the yard, and the heat index is 100 degrees now. He and a friend are going to try to get my van home today. It sits at Office Depot still. I am betting alternator, though I am sure the water system also has a leak.

Ok, none of that stuff to-be-done is doing itself, so I guess I better get on up and start now.
