I had notice this morning that the deadline for packages for Afghanistan has been extended by 10 days. That’s a good thing, since I was looking at the vest last night and thinking NO WAY.
The situation continues to worsen in NO. Why am I compelled to sit down first thing, and fill my head with how bad things are around me?
I'm Cass. I am a full-time mom to eight great children, a Christian, a knitter and a blogger. I've been knitting since December of 2000, and I knit all. the. time. I knit professionally for several years, but have become so busy that I only work on consignment now. I have also taught several knitting classes. I do all my knitting with two sticks and some string, and do not even own a knitting machine. I also crochet quite a bit, and used to embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint. I have other non-fiber related hobbies as well.

Don’t you think this is just a sign of where we are headed for in the future? Things are going to get way worse before they get better. He is going to come in our lifetime. At least that’s my opinion!
If you can wait until 9/6 maybe I can give you my hats to send to Afghanistan, too. If not I will find somewhere to send them!
