The man says he can get here this morning. The windows are open. In the meantime, we are already melting. We’ll be doing nothing until it’s fixed.

Knitting will consist of crocheting. Cotton. Little squares.

UPDATE: as of 11:28, we have cold air. It was the wiring.

Yes, well, he’s on his way. I called you to come over and be here, but you are “on the internets”. Course I look ugly enough just now, with sweaty hair and heat swollen face to scare off Frankenstein. Oh, and hairy legs too, which I refuse to cover with long (hahahaha, yeah right) pants.

ouch! well its nice and cool up here. So cool, that I nearly turned the heat on this morning upon waking! And nights have been frigid! Thank goodness for down comforters!

Oh how I love the northeast! Only here, in August could I be wearning a long sleeve shirt, jeans, SOCKS and clogs (and still feel like I need a sweatshirt!)

hang in there and drink lots of water mama!

Cass looks at Carla, says in her dryest voice: “Sometimes I really wonder how we got to be friends.”

ROFL! He’s here, the a/c guy!! Yay! The humidity has dropped, and the breeze has picked up a bit.

Your comment was almost *almost* as mean as when you had your 5th blizzard last winter, and I told you how it was a nice balmy 65 here!

ROFL! I was trying to get you thinking about the cold ;)

When I’m neck deep in upstate NY snow this winter, I’ll expect the warm weather reports!

Do you have a kiddie pool? I’d fill that puppy up and go plop myself in it!

hey cass- I missed you at the last knitting night I went to, then I missed the last one myself. Hope all is well with you. I have some medical issues I am dealing with. Maybe will be back next week. Don’t know yet. Take care!

…It has rained every day for the past week. I am pleased. It’s not hot. I love Colorado for it’s strange weather.
Of course…I love North Carolina, too. Except for the lack of snow, the high temps, the humidity, the rednecks who run over dogs… but those are minor things.

I’ve been missing you, too, Patti! I hope to see you next time. Sorry to hear you are having issues again.

Hey, watch it. We have snow (but not here). We have cool temps (but not here). We have low humidity (but not here). Rednecks? Those we have. Right here.
