Evidently, this tupperware was not correctly sealed at some point. After I sealed it, they came up to get air. There are lots of them. I’ll toss this out when dh runs the trash tonight.
PS- the kids had pop-tarts fro breakfast. They did not care for the extra protein 
I'm Cass. I am a full-time mom to eight great children, a Christian, a knitter and a blogger. I've been knitting since December of 2000, and I knit all. the. time. I knit professionally for several years, but have become so busy that I only work on consignment now. I have also taught several knitting classes. I do all my knitting with two sticks and some string, and do not even own a knitting machine. I also crochet quite a bit, and used to embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint. I have other non-fiber related hobbies as well.

That makes me never want to eat oatmeal again.
Though, if the bugs were not moving when you put theoatmeal in front of me, you didn’t tell me they were in there, and I had some sugar, I;d be fine. What doesn’t kill us can only make us stronger, right?
Well, it was C who found the bugs in the already cooked oatmeal. They were not moving, but quite dead and boiled.. And the oatmeal had apples in it. See, I did not turn on the light to make it. I don’t need a light to boil water and add oats. I do, apparently, at my advanced age, need a light to see bugs.
*shrug* I can’t see bugs in the dark, either.
